    Frequently asked questions

    How many hands I can make with one kit?

    Each kit includes enough materials to create two statues, perfect for capturing both a child's ( Any age) and a parent's hand.

    How long does the alginate take to harden?

    Alginate can take between 4-8 minutes depending on the water temperature. If the water is warmer you mould will set pretty fast in the contrary if you use very cold water the moulding can take up to 10 min.

    What if my kit doesn't work?

    If your kit does not work we will send a new casting kit to try again. Please refer to our 100% result guarantee policy.

    Can I paint  my casting kit?

    Yes! we recommend to use bronze or silver spray paint to give it a metalical look but you can also use oil based paint. Please allow at least 5 days for the cast to completely dry out before painting.
